08:00 Departure from Kyiv. Moving to Baturyn. On the way, visit a small town, a district center in the Chernihiv region - Kozelets.
09:00 Arrival to Kozelets. Acquaintance with the Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, that considered one of the most beautiful cathedrals of Ukraine, created by the order of Natalia Razumovska (Razumikha), the mother of Alexei and Kyryll Razumovsky. The architects of the temple were Andrey Kvasov and Ivan Grygorovych-Barsky.
Moving to Baturyn.
12:00 Arrival in Baturyn.
Excursion to the Citadel of the Baturyn Fortress with a visit to the Getman Residence, an excursion to the archaeological museum of Baturyn, a visit to the tomb of the last Ukrainian hetman Kyryll Razumovsky.
13:30 Lunch at a cafe on the picturesque bank of the Seim River.
14:30 Excursion around the house-museum of the General judge V. Kochubey.
The House of the General judge has witnessed all the main stages of the development of the hetman capital. It was erected immediately after the proclamation of Baturyn by the hetman's residence. At the beginning of the XVIII century the house became the property of the General judge of the Left-bank Ukraine V. Kochubey and belonged to the Kochubey family until 1917. From 1695 to 1708 in this house worked Ukrainian chronicler Samuel Velychko.
15:30 Excursion to the palace of Kyryll Razumovsky.
The palace of the last hetman of Ukraine Kyryll Razumovsky, belongs to the outstanding monuments of the palace and park architecture of Ukraine of the period of classicism. It was erected in 1799-1803 on the project of the outstanding architect Charles Cameron. After the death of K. Razumovsky in January 1803, finishing work was stopped, and the palace soon remained without proper care. In the years 2003-2009, under the aegis of the President of Ukraine V. Yushchenko and the charitable participation of Ukrainian patrons, the palace was restored.
